I guess I ‘ve been wanting to network and connect with others in my industry for a couple of years now but have never actually done anything about it. I don’t think I realised until I started my own business just how lonely it would be. I’ve felt like an island, fumbling on alone with no support or reflection of my struggle around me.
So, this is it. An attempt to get people together with similar backgrounds, similar challenges in business and perhaps most of all, similar goals.
I’ve started online networking recently too so that will add to my experience and point me in the right direction of how to grow this so it benefits clients, patients and practitioners everywhere. Doing it intelligently is the key for me as I suspect I could get lost in Cyberland if I’m online too much.
The vision that is slowly beginning to form is one of enjoyable and mutually beneficial conversations, the learning of practical applications of business knowledge and gaining more tools so we can be successful and generate some real change in the way health care is viewed, accessed and delivered in the world.
